Things to do with Kids in SF (that don’t suck for parents)

San Francisco is a city that has something to offer everyone, including families with young children. If you’re planning a trip to the city by the bay, you might be wondering what activities are available that won’t leave your kids whining “this is boring!” Well, fear not, dear parent, for we have compiled a list of things to do in SF that don’t suck with children.

1.EXPLORATORIUM

If you want to combine education with fun, the Exploratorium is the perfect place for you. This museum of science, art, and human perception has more than 600 interactive exhibits that will keep your little ones engaged and learning for hours. The museum is located on Pier 15, so you can also enjoy stunning views of the bay while you’re there.

2. GOLDEN GATE PARK

Golden Gate Park is a massive park that offers a wide range of activities for families. You can rent bicycles, take a paddleboat out on Stow Lake, visit the California Academy of Sciences, the de Young Museum, or simply have a picnic on the grass. The park also has a children’s playground, a carousel, and a Japanese tea garden that is sure to delight your kids.

3. PLAY MINI GOLF AT PARKLAB GARDENS

Playing mini-golf at Parklab Gardens is a fun and exciting activity for families with kids. The lush gardens provide a scenic backdrop to the outdoor interactive course; your kids will love the thrill of sinking a hole-in-one. 4. CABLE CAR RIDE

You can start your ride at the Powell and Market cable car turnaround and take a scenic trip through some of the city’s most iconic neighborhoods.

5. FISHERMAN’S WHARF

Fisherman’s Wharf is a popular tourist spot that has a lot to offer for families. You can watch the sea lions basking in the sun, visit the Aquarium of the Bay, or take a ferry to Alcatraz Island. Your kids will also love sampling the fresh seafood and clam chowder that the area is famous for.

6. WALT DISNEY FAMILY MUSEUM
