Mission Bay Future Parks Workshop

Last year, Mission Bay park planners hosted a series of site tours and community workshops, presented at neighborhood meetings, and conducted a community survey with over 1,100 participants.

Since then, the design team has continued to study the sites—from the current ‘Parklab’ interim use parcels on Mission Bay Commons to the large vacant lots beneath the I-280 freeway—with consideration to community feedback and the underlying design goals.

At the upcoming meeting the design and planning team will recap with a summary of prior meetings, and will share a series of conceptual site program diagrams for the future parks, as well as some next steps and an anticipated schedule for design and construction.
