We celebrated the year of the pig by getting down on delicious dumplings, bottomless kumquat mimosas, and Chinese beers at the biggest Lunar New Year food festival in San Francisco — Dumpling Down!
Vendors from all over the Bay Area steamed, fried, baked, and sauced authentic Chinese dim sum classics like shumai, bao buns, and xiao lung bao — each filled with traditional delights like shrimp, pork, cabbage, and chives! Then we sunk our chopsticks into other Chinese treats! Onion pancakes, sesame balls, boba, and Taiwanese-style shaved ice cream also dotted the menus of all our favorite Asian food trucks.
